4.5.10.a Chain drive
Chain drive. Sprockets are installed (like on a bicycle) and a drive chain is put on at the end of the crankshaft and camshaft. A chain damper, which is a long bar along which the chain moves, is additionally installed in order to exclude the beating of the chain Usually the chain tensioner guide is installed on the other side. The chain drive can also be examined in Figures 4.19 and 4.20.
