Spark plug (chapter 10) is a device for igniting сfuel and air mixture in the most various heat engines. Spark plugs are used in gasoline internal combustion engines. Ignition of the fuel-air mixture is performed by an electric discharge with a voltage of several thousand or tens of thousands of volts, occurring between the electrodes of the candle. The spark plug is triggered on each cycle, at a certain moment of engine operation.
